About

The story behind the work

Hi, I'm Your Name. I write, invest, and speak about how capital and conviction compound over a lifetime — and about the quieter craft of building something that lasts.

My path didn't start with a grand plan. It started with curiosity, a handful of expensive mistakes, and a stubborn belief that the long game is almost always undervalued. Over the years that belief turned into a practice: read widely, decide deliberately, write it all down, and let time do the heavy lifting.

Today my work lives in a few different forms — essays for the ideas still taking shape, books for the arguments worth making permanent, videos for the conversations, and talks for the rooms where ideas meet people. They're all expressions of the same throughline: capital, conviction, and the craft of building.

When I'm not writing or on a stage, you'll find me deep in a book, out for a long walk untangling a problem, or quietly putting my own ideas to the test. I believe the best teachers are still students — and I intend to stay one.

Milestones

A few moments that shaped the path

  1. 2010

    The First Bet

Made my first real investment and learned, expensively, the difference between a good decision and a good outcome.

  2. 2014

    Going All In

Left a comfortable path to build full-time. Equal parts terrifying and clarifying.

  3. 2018

    Building in Public

Started writing and sharing openly. The compounding effect on opportunity was immediate and lasting.

  4. 2021

    First Book

Published my first book on long-horizon thinking. It found readers I never expected to reach.

  5. 2024

    On the Stage

Began speaking to audiences around the world about capital, conviction, and the craft of building.

  6. Today

    Capitali

Bringing the essays, videos, books, and talks together in one place — and still very much in the arena.
